Uunfortunately a lot of the women who have been in NASCAR have not had top-notch equipment. But two names to watch closely are Erin Crocker and Sarah Fisher. As owner of Sarah Fisher Racing, she was plenty busy addressing the myriad of daily details and attempting to attract additional sponsorship for the program. As the No. 67 car was rolled to the grid for the 92nd Indianapolis 500, everything was looking bright. "We collected everything, went back to the shop and did a survey of what all the damages were," said Fisher, who recently sent "thank you" notes and a small piece of the car to individuals who made monetary contributions to the program. "The car is out being fixed right now. It's a rebuilding process, but we didn't like some things about it so this way we get to rebuild it a little different so that's the positive of it. Certainly we're looking forward to the future. We want to build this thing to be even bigger than it was at the Indy 500. We think we did a great job. We had an escalating month and that's a very difficult thing to do as a first-year team. "Hopefully we can make it to Kentucky. That's the goal."
